Beijing Jiaotong University is a national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education and now is jointly supported by the Ministry of Education, the China Railway Corporation and Beijing Municipal Government. BJTU is one of the first universities selected into the “National 211 Project” and the “985 Strength Discipline Innovation Platform” project, one of the first institutions authorised to confer master’s and doctoral degrees.
Representatives from Beijing Jiaotong University paid a courtesy call to the vice chancellor, Kenyatta University on 9th March 2017 and then proceeded to give a presentation to the Engineering students of Kenyatta University. The presentation was held at BSSC Room 12 and it was well attended by past and present engineering students eager to know more about Beijing Jiaotong University. - Ministry of Commerce Scholarship – MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries as well as to develop talents for developing countries.
